Position Summary
Guggenheim Investments seeks a self-motivated individual to join its Client Service Support ("CSS") team. Reporting to the CSS team manager, this is a role in a highly integrated and visible team responsible for coordinating all fixed income SMA client operational requests and onboarding and offboarding accounts. The position presents a unique opportunity working across the organization to provide a centralized and cross-functional viewpoint. Part of one's success will be cultivating relationships across business areas including but not limited to Client Services, Portfolio Management, Trading Desks and Operations.
Central to this role are exceptional communication & listening skills with the ability to ask pointed and open-end questions necessary to provide the correct responses to the client. The ideal candidate will have an eagerness to learn and apply their knowledge; and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where it is important to prioritize and manage a multi-stream workload.
The position is located in our New York City office.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely communication of all required operational information for client accounts
- Liaise with various departments to ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately
- Provide expertise as an operational subject matter expert with regards to on-boarding of funds and SMAs to help ensure all details are fully researched and addressed by all affected groups in the firm.
- Work with Operations, Legal, Distribution and members within the Investment Management Group among others to review and ensure scalability in existing and new processes.
- Coordinate the opening and closing of client accounts on the accounting platform using the client and account utilities.
- Take instruction and direction from the Team Lead- CSS and keep Team Lead up to speed on all client issues
- EU Team covers both SMA clients and QIF / UCITS private fund investors
- Private Fund Transactions Team - additional responsibilities
- Ensure all transactions are tracked, approved and executed with excellence and governance
- Act as primary point of contact for certain private fund clients, interact directly
- Ensure all new private funds are operationally set up including bank accounts, Blackrock systems, etc. Primary contact for all private fund initiatives
- Tax Operations - additional responsibilities
- Liaise with tax service providers to ensure all tax documents for clients are accurate and update date with proper approvals
- Ensure all FATCA and CRS filings are completed annually and liaise with service providers to close out any outstanding tax issues

Salary Range
Annual base salary between
110,000.00-$120,000.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
