Across the globe, each Guggenheim stands not just as a backdrop for visionary art but as masterpieces in and of themselves to experience.SUMMARY OF POSITION : Guggenheim New York seeks a Senior Director, Communications and Public Relations to lead external and internal communications strategy in support of its program and mission. Working independently, under the guidance of the Deputy Director, Chief Brand and Communications Officer (CBCO), the Senior Director will lead and oversee planning and execution of external communications strategies to promote the Guggenheim brand, exhibitions, public programs, initiatives, and international constellation of museums. The Senior Director will also work closely with the CBCO to develop public relations strategies in areas including thought leadership, issues and reputation management, and crisis communications related to the Guggenheim New York and will advise on such topics affecting or including the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Guggenheim Bilbao, and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
