Job Description : Position Summary Guggenheim Securities Information Management (“GSIM”) is seeking an experienced Chief Architect to join its Information Management Leadership team.Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, this person will be a highly skilled and experienced Chief Architect to help lead our digital transformation as we move to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.Essential Job Functions Lead the architectural design and implementation of cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.Collaborate with business leaders, IM teams, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Develop and maintain architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for cloud adoption and migration.Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud solutions by implementing industry best practices and compliance standards.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of architects, engineers, and developers.Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing, financial services, and Microsoft Azure technologies.Drive continuous improvement and innovation in cloud architecture and solution delivery.Conduct regular assessments of existing systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Oversee the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance the overall architecture and performance of cloud solutions.Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the successful delivery of cloud projects.Develop and deliver presentations and reports to senior management and stakeholders on the progress and impact of cloud initiatives.Preferred Qualifications Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps, Azure Security, and Azure Data Services.Strong understanding of financial services industry regulations, compliance, and security requirements.Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale, complex cloud solutions.Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.Azure Solutions Architect certification is highly desirable.Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and data analytics in the context of financial services.Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.10 years of experience in IM architecture, with a focus on cloud computing and financial services.Work Location Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office Tuesday through Thursday.Salary Annual base salary between $225,000 - 250,000.The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience.
