Key Responsibilities
- Represent the HR function by communicating and supporting philosophies, processes, policies, and capabilities to business unit staff employees and managers
- Under direction of senior Business Generalists, provide daily hands-on support to the business in the areas of employee relations, recruiting and on-boarding, employee development, training, compensation, organizational development, benefits, performance management.
- On a rotational basis, conduct the HR new hire orientation process
- Monitor business unit compliance with internal human capital policies and procedures and legislation
- Work with the Sr. Business Generalists and the business in resource planning including: recruiting, organizational design, job evaluation and definition and helping to facilitate the performance appraisal, development, advancement and compensation processes within the business and staff functions
- Support in handling employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and improvement, and exit strategies and business reorganizations; such as severance agreements and termination discussions
- Research and resolve daily employee HR inquiries
- Check-ins with new employees; and coaching managers/providing resources
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 5-8 years prior experience as an HR Generalist; preferably within Financial Services or Asset Management
- 4 days in office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS / ATS systems; specifically Workday
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Create effective partnerships with client groups and other teams to drive results
- Adherence to processes/Identify process improvements
- Data-oriented, due diligence in advance of recommendations/actions
- Achieving deadlines for assigned projects
- Demonstrate knowledge of laws/policies and application of them
- HR Certifications a plus
Salary Range
Annual base salary between
$120,000.00-$130,000.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
