Job Description : Position Summary
The Director of FP&A will report to the CFO and be a senior member of the finance team that has oversight for a team responsible for financial and operational reporting, forecasting and budgeting. The FP&A team partners closely with the firm's business leaders to deliver value-added business analysis and financial and operational insights that lead to informed decision making by the executive team. The successful candidate will lead this function and elevate our approach to FP&A by improving reporting outputs, routines and developing forward looking analytics and insights that will enable better business decisions.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead the annual budgeting process, long term financial forecasting, monthly reporting and special projects (e.g., strategic initiatives and finance transformation)
- Drive implementation of rolling forecasts and analysis of results against forecast / plan
- Prepare executive reporting materials and presentations to summarize results and assess outlook
- Develop financial models and analysis, including cash flow (direct & indirect) and key balance sheet metrics
- Conduct quarterly valuation analysis of the business and benchmark against publicly traded peers
- Support modernization of the firm's financial reporting infrastructure by instituting and leveraging tools and systems
