Guggenheim is seeking an exceptional Junior Trader to join its Guggenheim Treasury Service Team. This person will join a highly collaborative team responsible for managing a 30 billion portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience with fixed income markets, futures and options, and will be comfortable interacting in a highly time- sensitive environment. Guggenheim is willing to train the right candidate.
The Junior Trader role presents an opportunity for entry and growth within one of the initial business lines (Institutional Finance) of Guggenheim Partners, LLC. This well established and highly recognized manager has been part of Guggenheim Partners, LLC since its inception in 2000.
This position will report and be based in our Chicago office.

Essential Job Functions
- Support Senior traders by assisting in daily reconciliation, determining trading levels, and creating pre-trade documentation.
- Managing small Asset Backed Commercial Paper portfolios including determining daily issuance amounts, trading levels, and assisting with operational and settlement procedures.
- Financial engineering by assisting customers and internal stakeholders to optimize funding strategies.
- Knowledge of Python/SQL and proficiency in Excel preferred.
- Must be self-motivated, able to multitask and act upon deadlines that may change often, and possess strong communications skills.
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Annual base salary between $50,000 and $60,000
