What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Coordinator position at GUIDANCE CARE CENTER INC?
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the safety and operational integrity of GCC and properties, buildings and vehicle fleet. Supervise GCC housekeepers and maintenance staff of all 4 locations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform and/or oversee regular maintenance duties at all sites according to maintenance schedule
- Complete maintenance and repair requests daily as requested by staff
- Identify and select suitable vendors for facility repairs. Inspect all work by outside vendors for quality and timeliness
- Accompany or be available for inspections
- Assure through regular inspections that maintenance procedures are consistently meeting health and safety standards, and that the facility is maintaining compliance with health and safety standards
- Serve on the safety committee in supervisors stead if requested and attend meetings and participate in inspections as required
- Serve on the Environment of Care Committee
- Order water and sodas and keep vending machines filled
- Pick up and return patient medical records to storage
- Maintain storage room
- Maintain facility grounds per regular schedule to assure an attractive and welcoming appearance
- Inventory and order all necessary supplies and tools for maintenance and housekeeping needs
- Assist with agency vehicle repairs when applicable
- Run and maintain computer cables, phone wires and electrical connections
- Perform GCC monthly facility inspection
- Monitor and update electronic Maintenance Tracking system
- Oversee and orchestrate maintenance of GCC fleet vehicles
- Conduct monthly inspections of all agency vehicles
- Supervises preventative maintenance schedule for all agency vehicles
- Coordinate agency vehicles repairs
- Review and log Daily Inspection Checklists from agency vehicles and prioritize needed repairs
- Report any mechanical problems to Transportation Director immediately
- Ensures that Clinic vehicles are cleaned inside and out on a regular basis
- Participate in WestCare National Operations and subcommittees including but not limited to OSHA Safety, Vehicles, and Maintenance as needed.
- Participate in meetings and attend trainings as required and requested.

- Perform any other duties as assigned.
