DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Assistant Director will be responsible for the daily management and operations of community-based services centered around families and youth. The Assistant Director will provide administrative/operational supervision to the program staff to ensure all services are delivered according to local, state, and federal laws and in compliance with contractual requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide program clinical supervision, training, and accountability.

  • Provide leadership to the CBPIR, Home Visiting, Family Outreach, and Wrap Around team simultaneously with Chief Executive Officer through daily clinical supervision, consultation, training, and support to ensure contract compliance and program quality according to GCLC Policies and Procedures
  • Evaluate individual and overall team performance on a consistent and ongoing basis; utilizing EMR-Bear and Smart-Sheet matrix and date analysis to make needed improvements.
  • Ensures that participant and program goals (program, financial, personnel, professional development, and training) are met in accordance with established program policies and procedures.
  • Actively participates in developing program budgets and monitors program performance according to set budget guidelines.
  • Actively monitor assigned supervisees’ performance goals and professional development in accordance with agency and contract expectations.
  • Conduct semi-annual performance evaluations for the assigned team; proactively identify and resolve performance issues. Recommend employees as appropriate for recognition or professional development.
  • Assures that staff and program goals (clinical, financial, personnel, professional development, and training) are met in accordance with established program policies and procedures, contract expectations, and state regulations.
  • Actively participate in the orientation process of new staff members.
  • Coordinate ongoing clinical supervision with the therapist’s internship supervisor to ensure the interns’ supervisors’ performance goals are met.
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures, and protocols.
  • Participate in professional development networks and associations to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices. Behavioral Health Behavioral Health Regulatory Compliance, Documentation, and Reporting
  • Produces program performance reports and invoices in accordance with agency rules and contract requirements.
  • Ensure supervisees’ timesheets, expenses, leave requests, etc., are complete, accurate, and in compliance with agency policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and Leadership Team.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Masters or Ph.D. in counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy, or psychology, with New Mexico state licensure (LISW, LPCC, LMFT, or Ph.D.).
  • NM Board Approved Clinical Supervisor or the ability to obtain Board approval within 60 days of employment.
  • Minimum of 4 years clinical experience including work with child, adolescent, and adult sexual assault survivors, crisis intervention, and cognitive behavioral therapies.
  • Working knowledge of funding and agency contract requirements.
  • Experience with program development.
  • Computer competency requirements include Microsoft Office, Outlook, online researching techniques and search engine utilization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
  • Ability to work with a diverse staff and community as a team player and collaborator.
