Job Description :
As a UX / UI Designer, you'll balance understanding user needs through research and designing intuitive, visually polished interfaces. Your role will shift between UX research and UI design depending on project needs, ensuring flexibility and adaptability. You'll work closely with the product and engineering teams to base designs on real data and user feedback, driving continuous improvements across the product. Your focus will include collecting actionable insights from user research (e.g., interviews, usability testing, analytics) to inform both UX and UI decisions. At times, your work will lean more toward research, while at others, it will center on creating user-centric interfaces . This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the Boston, MA area.
Duties :
- Ability to adapt and shift focus between UX research and UI design based on project needs, contributing effectively to both phases of the product development cycle.
- Lead user interviews, usability tests, and surveys to gather actionable insights that inform design decisions.
- Create high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and user-centered.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure designs align with business goals and user needs.
- Use user feedback and analytics to iterate and refine both UX and UI designs, ensuring continuous improvement of the product.
- Contribute to and maintain a growing design system that ensures consistency across the product.
