Job Title: Bilingual QMHP-CS / Case Manager

Location: Dallas, TX (On the Road / Community-Based)
Job Type: Part-Time, Contract (1099 Contractor)
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 10 – 30 per week

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Bilingual Qualified Mental Health Professional – Community Services (QMHP-CS) / Case Manager to join our team. This role involves providing individualized mental health support, case management, and skills training to individuals and families, with a focus on children and youth experiencing behavioral and developmental challenges. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and a passion for improving mental health outcomes.

Given the diverse communities we serve, fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) is required to effectively communicate with clients and document services in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Client Support:
  • Provide mental health services in the client’s home, school, or community (3-10 hours per week per client).
  • Conduct assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
  • Implement behavioral therapy techniques to support emotional regulation, coping skills, and social interactions.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention services and respond to emergency clinical situations 24/7 as needed.
  • Case Management & Coordination:
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans (ISPs) in collaboration with clients and families.
  • Connect clients to wraparound services, outpatient therapy, and community resources.
  • Engage with families regularly to prevent out-of-home placement and ensure service continuity.
  • Work closely with educators, social workers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate progress notes, quarterly reviews, discharge reports, crisis plans, and incident reports.
  • Ensure that all documentation meets agency procedures and regulatory standards (HIPAA compliance).
  • Stay updated on best practices in case management and mental health service delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education & Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or a related field (required).
  • Must meet and maintain QMHP-CS eligibility per TMHP.
  • Licensure or certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (preferred).
  • Experience & Skills:
  • Experience in mental health case management, addiction counseling, or behavioral therapy (preferred).
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, PTSD interventions, and child behavioral health.
  • Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders, crisis intervention, and community-based mental health services.
  • Strong ability to develop treatment plans and coordinate client services effectively.
  • Proficient in clinical interviewing and risk assessment for suicide, violence, and high-risk behaviors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for community-based work.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility in scheduling (including evenings, weekends, and after-school hours).
