HR Strategy and Leadership:
· Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and values.
· Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
· Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for employees, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.
· Develop talent management programs, including performance evaluation and professional development.
Employee Relations and Compliance:
· Promote a positive workplace culture through effective employee relations initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, especially those related to DDD services.
Compensation and Benefits:
· Administer and enhance compensation and benefits programs, including healthcare, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
· Analyze market data to maintain competitive salary and benefits structures.
HR Policies and Procedures:
· Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, providing guidance to employees and ensuring consistency in HR practices.
· Implement and manage an effective HRIS (Human Resources Information System) for data tracking and reporting.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
· Lead DEI initiatives within the organization, fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
· Promote diversity in recruitment and talent management practices.
Training and Development:
· Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff.
· Support the creation of a learning culture within the organization.
Guided Steps intended to Unionize it staff, this role will play a vital role in maintaining and guiding the agency in implementing the union contract
· Support, guide, and train managers to assist with maintaining effective relationships with the Union
· Ensure collective bargaining process is completed effectively and timely.
Other Duties as assigned:
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
· Experience in Union negotiations.
· A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience in a Healthcare setting, preferably in a DDD service provider.
· Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, particularly those related to Homecare / DDD services in New Jersey.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR matters with professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with HRIS implementation and management.
· Expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
· Familiarity with for-profit or healthcare HR practices.
