Guidepost Pediatric Therapies and Educational Services was created to change the face of pediatric healthcare in Alaska with the first truly integrated healthcare model where providers work alongside educators and behavioral health therapists and present intra collaborative cases for study in staff meetings. We have seen and worked in other places across the country where the attitude and culture is cold and sterile. Where the providers feel like they are doing you a “service” by allowing you to be treated by them. We have seen poor customer service and packed therapy gyms. Guidepost offers more time with patients and a 1900 sq ft therapy gym full of sensory and pediatric physical therapy equipment and table. Our business was created to turn this paradigm and treatment model on its head. We believe that the healing process can truly begin when you as the patient are truly heard and understood in an intra-collaborative environment. We believe that our first and largest privilege is being part of this community and you choosing us to put our training to work and help you. We wanted to create something new and change the old view of therapy and medicine. We know that therapy can be fun and we celebrate wins here with a happy and welcoming environment where children and families come to decompress, move, learn, grow and thrive!

Our Vision:

We exist to change the way Alaskans view their health, to take charge of their own lives, and show that therapy helps children grow, learn and thrive at school and home.
