What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Engineer Intern position at Guidewire?
Summary
This Internship will be located in San Mateo, CA. To be eligible, you must be in the area and able to commute to the office 2 days a week.
Guidewire Software is seeking a summer Intern (May / June - September) 4 months to join the Business Technology team.
Guidewire serves a global community of more than 350 insurers of all sizes and lines of business in more than 30 countries. Job Description
What will I be doing as an intern?
- Interns will work on active DevSecOps / Infra projects and not made-up intern projects.
- Interns will work as part of scrum team in a 2-week sprint model
- Interns will have the chance to collaborate and work with DevSecOps / Infra engineers as part of their team, so this will be like a real-time work opportunity for them.
- Automation on AWS Platform from service now, jenkins,AWS Infrastructure etc
- Slack integration, Slack Apps and Slack streamlining
- Tools provisioning and automation using AWS framework
- Other ad-hoc tasks related to our DevSecOps / Infra team's needs
Intern Requirements :
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 - $96,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
