About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Breeding Kennel Technician Assistant to join our team at Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Inc. As a member of our Canine Development Center, you will play a crucial role in the journey of our dogs by caring for the Broods, Studs and young puppies (six to ten weeks old).
The successful candidate will have a passion for animal care and a willingness to learn. They will be responsible for maintaining a clean kennel according to established guidelines, providing a high level of animal husbandry care, and performing basic breeding procedures, medical treatments, specimen collections, diagnostic tests, blood draws and administering vaccines to both adult dogs and puppies.

- Maintain a clean kennel according to established guidelines.
- Provide a high level of animal husbandry care.
- Perform basic breeding procedures.
- Administer vaccinations and perform diagnostic tests.
Requirements:
- Experience in a kennel environment, veterinarian's office or training environment, or a strong interest in learning about animal care.
- Physical stamina for a demanding role.
- Ability to lift and control 65-75 pound dogs.
