Job Description:
The Canine Care Specialist will be responsible for providing a high level of animal husbandry care to all dogs, including bathing, feeding, check overs, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and medicating in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a kennel environment, veterinarian's office or training environment, or a strong interest in learning about animal care. Physical stamina is required for a demanding role that includes repetitive bending, stooping, kneeling and squatting on concrete surface. The ability to lift and control 65-75 pound dogs as well as carry portable dog crates and dog pens weighing up to 30 pounds is also essential.
