The Dog Breeder and Trainer will be responsible for breeding and training exceptional dogs for individuals who are seeking increased freedom and independence. This role requires a high level of physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a kennel environment, veterinarian's office or training environment, or a strong interest in learning about animal care. They will be responsible for maintaining a clean kennel according to established guidelines, providing a high level of animal husbandry care, and performing basic breeding procedures, medical treatments, specimen collections, diagnostic tests, blood draws and administering vaccines to both adult dogs and puppies.
