Veterinarian

Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Inc.
Yorktown Heights, NY Full Time
POSTED ON 1/9/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 3/9/2025

At Guiding Eyes for the Blind, we are passionate about connecting exceptional dogs with individuals for greater independence.  We are dedicated to creating and supporting life-changing connections between people and dogs.  So, if you are passionate about helping people and dogs, and are looking for a practice where every patient receives extraordinary care, attention and love, we would like to hear from you!

At our facilities we breed, raise, and train exceptional dogs. Then we connect them to people who are seeking increased freedom and independence, so that together, they can experience all kinds of life adventures.  As one of our Veterinarians, you will play a key part in making that happen!

Working with our dogs will inspire you.  As one of our Veterinarians, you will love supporting our mission as you practice high quality veterinary medicine in a rewarding environment while becoming an expert on our Labrador Retrievers and German Shepherds.  With us, your expertise ensures our amazing dogs receive the best possible care and their optimal health is maintained from breeding through retirement and all stages in between, all while you work alongside a close-knit, supportive team.  You will love working with our clients (the feeling will be mutual!) and you'll never have to write another estimate again since services are offered at no cost to our Puppy Raisers and graduating teams.  This will allow you to provide meaningful, top-notch veterinary care at our full-service Veterinary Hospital without the common private practice challenges of dealing with financial constraints.  Here, all necessary resources are at your disposal to ensure each dog receives the care and follow-up it deserves.

This position will primarily report to our Yorktown campus with travel to our Patterson campus as needed
