JOB DESCRIPTION: SERVICE TECHNICIAN HELPER
SUMMARY: The Service Technician Helper supports the repair and adjustment of premium windows and exterior doors, with occasional assistance in large door installations and window assembly. This position is vital for retaining customers and ensuring exceptional service quality. This position will report to the Service and Installation Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following: (other duties may be assigned)
- Assist Service Technicians with service on all products sold by Guido Materials which includes repairs and adjustments to windows and doors.
- Help install screens, hardware, and glaze glass.
- Support the installation of large doors and window assembly.
- Provide exceptional customer service skills when dealing with customers
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum of High School diploma or GED is required. Vocational, technical, or business school is preferred. Background in window and/or construction industry preferred but not required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: This individual must have strong customer service skills, be innovative and have a strong ability to identify & solve situational and complex problems. Able to lift 70-100 lbs. for long periods of time. Valid Driver’s license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Bilingual in Spanish and English is not a requirement but is preferred.
