Title: Clinical Supervisor - Guild Hearth Program
FLSA Status: Full-time, Salary, Exempt
Purpose:
This position is part of the Guild Hearth Program leadership team and responsible for directing, guiding, and modeling quality services to case management staff. This program uniquely serves individuals who are experiencing or have experienced long-term and chronic homelessness. You would be responsible for the clinical oversight of the provision of case management support services, with some Mental Health Targeted Case Management services. You will empower staff to help individuals who have serious mental illnesses and/or substance disorders live self-directed and satisfying lives. This role is responsible for collaboration with our Housing Financial Administrator and other program supervisors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direct supervision to program staff so they can provide flexible, person-centered services and support.
- Select, train, evaluate, and develop assigned employees to ensure optimum performance and allocation of resources.
- Ensure services from the team are documented in individual records so information is readily available, results of services can be determined, and record-keeping standards are met.
- Facilitate team discussions and communicate pertinent information to ensure quality of service for the individuals served.
- Empower staff to complete their job function in the spirit of the agency mission and in accordance with agency standards.
- Promote an inclusive, diverse, culturally competent, and respectful work environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledgeable on how to access and navigate social service resources and community resources.
- Meet the needs of people living with mental illness.
- Meet the needs of people experiencing or with history of homelessness.
- At least one year (full-time) experience in a leadership position responsible for managing the performance of direct reports.
Education and Experiences:
- Master’s Degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and has 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illnesses.
- Licensed as a Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT or LPCC) in the state of Minnesota.
Clinical Trainee:
- Master’s Degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
- Working toward clinical licensure as defined by appropriate licensing board (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP) with the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to pass a MN Department of Human Services background check.
- Ability to perform CPR, first aid, and respond to emergency situations or ability to get certified to perform these within 90-days of employment.
- Ability to lift and carry weights that could be up to 20-50 pounds to assist clients with belongings at times.
- Must not be actively receiving services from Guild and must not have received services within the last two year.
Working Conditions:
- This position performs most activities at the Guild Services Administrative Offices in St. Paul; however, some of the work is in the field as services are provided to individuals wherever needed.
- This position may require transporting individuals in personal vehicle.
- This position has the potential to encounter bodily fluids, communicable diseases, tobacco smoke, and/or household pets.

The salary range for this position is between $65,000 to $79,000 annually. The range reflects the minimum and maximum salary for the position. Compensation will depend on the candidate’s professional experience, skills, and relevant education, training, and certifications.
