As a Bus Monitor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during their transportation to and from school.
- Assist the bus driver in maintaining a safe and orderly environment on the bus
- Monitor student behavior and enforce bus rules to ensure a respectful and peaceful atmosphere.
- Provide support to students with special needs, including assisting with seating arrangements and securing mobility devices
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding any concerns or incidents that may arise during the bus ride
- Collaborate with the bus driver to address any emergency situations or medical needs that may occur during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behavior incidents for reporting purposes
