DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and Tasks
- Support evaluating county programs and services in alignment with developed priority scorecard as a part of outcome based budgeting. Gains an understanding of strategic planning and performance measurement.
- Supports developing a revenue manual that explains key revenues and historical trends. Gains an understanding of how county budgets operate and revenues are calculated.
- Assist with routing grant applications and gains a better understanding of how local government grants operate.
- Ability to work remotely and drop-in office space for in-person work.

RECRUITMENT STANDARDS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel.
- Knowledge of dashboard systems and/or database management a plus.

- Strong written, presentation, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and expectations of assignments and projects.
- Capacity to learn new systems and potentially lead others in learning systems.
- Able to conduct well-informed research and compile effective deliverables.

Must be enrolled in a graduate program pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, or Public Affairs.
Additional Information
- Summer Internship
- Anticipated start date of May 2025
- Up to 480 hours, not to exceed 29 hours per week
Salary : $20
