Key Responsibilities:Guest Hospitality & Seating
- Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor upon arrival.
- Provide accurate wait times and manage reservations effectively.
- Escort guests to their tables and communicate with servers to ensure a smooth transition.
- Thank guests upon departure and encourage return visits.
Reservation & Floor Management
- Utilize the restaurant’s reservation system to track seating availability and waitlist.
- Monitor table turnover and adjust seating plans to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate with servers and managers to ensure efficient dining room operations.
- Accommodate special seating requests when possible.
Sales & Upselling
- Promote and sell restaurant offerings, including special menu items, events, and promotions.
- Encourage guests to join loyalty programs, book future reservations, or purchase gift cards.
- Be knowledgeable about menu items, beverages, and special promotions to make effective recommendations.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas for reservations, gift cards, and other promotional items.
Communication & Coordination
- Answer phones, take reservations, and assist with to-go orders as needed.
- Keep managers informed of any guest concerns or special requests.
- Assist with large party seating arrangements and special events.
Cleanliness & Organization
- Maintain the cleanliness of the host stand, menus, and entrance area.
- Keep promotional materials and menus updated and neatly displayed.
- Assist with light side work, such as resetting tables or helping with guest accommodations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a host, customer service, or sales role preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, sales, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a high-volume setting.
- Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.89 - $22.75 per hour
