Freelance Official Adjudicator for GWR Studio TV programmes based in France, Germany, Poland, Spain and Italy.

The Opportunity: 

Are you an actor or performer with TV experience? We have the perfect opportunity for you! 

Guinness World Records (“GWR”) is looking for freelance Official Adjudicators for GWR Studio TV programmes that will film in France, Germany, Poland, Spain and Italy. 

Applicants must be fluent in the language where the programme is being filmed as well as be proficient in English.

We will train you to be the official adjudicators who can represent the GWR brand for these TV shows, which are due to film in the autumn of 2023. This is not a permanent member of staff and works only in the capacity of Official Adjudicator when required for adjudications, TV programmes, media interviews, and other record initiatives organized by the GWR business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To adjudicate live or recorded TV Official Record Attempts as instructed by GWR, determine if the record was successful or not and present the record holder with an Official Certificate.
  • To report on the outcome of these attempts, providing the necessary evidence, documentation, pictures, and contacts.
  • To be an ambassador of the GWR brand. 

Candidate Capabilities:

  • Trained Actor, TV Entertainer, or MC with TV and Entertainment experience
  • Fluent in French, German, Polish, Spanish or Italian
  • Must possess poise, ability to take direction, remember lines, and details, plus deal with unexpected events when filming.
  • Comfortable interviewing and speaking with members of the public plus record breakers.
  • Ability to work full time the country where the TV programme is being filmed.
  • Outspoken, articulate, and comfortable to deal with the media interviews  

Audition and Interview process:

  1. Submit CV/Resumes AND Headshots or Spotlight/online link
  2. GWR will invite you then to send an audition tape before an in person audition.
  3. You will submit to a background check.
  4. The chosen candidate will then be asked to commit to the TV programme rehearsal and dates
