Guiry’s, a local retailer of paint, decorating and fine art supplies is seeking a Full-Time Retail Associate for our Art & Paint Departments in our Boulder, Colorado, location.
Family-owned and operated since 1899, Guiry’s has been one of Colorado and New Mexico's painting and supply retailers with a longstanding reputation for providing quality products and excellence in customer service.
Our Sales Associates work closely with both contractors and retail customers.
Responsibilities of the Sales Associate include:
- Assisting customers with colors and all necessary supplies for their projects
- Mixing and matching colors
- Loading and unloading trucks with paint, paint sundries, and art supplies
- Stock merchandise – rotate, straighten and rearrange as needed
- Handle credit and cash transactions
- Maintain store cleanliness
- Flexibility and helping in all departments
- Position requires working at least one weekend day per week
- Current Store hours are M-F 7:00am-7:00pm; Sat 8:00am-5:00pm (all depts.); Sun 10:00am-5:00pm (all depts.)
- You must have availability during all store hours and must work one weekend day per week.
Qualifications include:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to regularly lift 75lbs
- Prior experience delivering excellent customer service (retail environment preferred).
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude, great communication and time management skills.
- Honest and ethical
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, hard-working, punctual and neat appearance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
