The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all warehouse equipment and facilities. This role ensures that all machinery, systems, and infrastructure are functioning efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
Key responsibilities :
- Team Leadership : Supervise , lead, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development. Support of team during all shifts.
- Maintenance Planning : Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs : Oversee and perform repairs on machinery and equipment, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and safety inspections. Prepare reports for management as required .
- Budget Management : Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Safety Leadership : Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
- Collaboration : Coordinate with other departments to plan and execute maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Vendor Coordination : Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
- Inventory Management : Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage.
- Project Management : Lead or oversee major maintenance projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvements.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness. Drive the department for optimum productivity while maintaining high standards for quality.
