As a skilled Guitar Technician at Guitar Center, you will deliver exceptional maintenance and repair services for customer-owned instruments. This role offers opportunities for continuous learning, hands-on training, and engaging with customers to enhance their experience.
The compensation package includes a base pay plus commissions, depending on background and experience, ranging from $14.81/hr to $28.22/hr.

As a Repair Tech (Guitar), you will provide maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and assist in maintaining store inventory, driving business growth through excellent customer experiences and quality work.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS:
- Customer Focus: Understands customer service principles, providing an excellent customer experience, connecting with customers in a meaningful way, and stepping in to handle service issues.
- Initiative: Identifies opportunities and issues, follows through on work activities, learns quickly, and takes positive action without being requested.
- Selling: Works through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
- Training: Effectively trains learners and communicates information and techniques for retention.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interacts with customers, ensuring a positive experience
- Services customer-owned instruments with high craftsmanship
- Maintains store-owned gear, as requested
- Completes warranty repair work
- Additional duties as assigned
