Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Center Analyst to join our team. The Operations Center Analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining the performance and efficiency of our operational systems. This individual will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless operations, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor operational systems, networks, and applications to ensure availability, performance, and security.
- Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner, following predefined procedures and protocols.
- Assess, contain and escalate environmental emergencies for Fire suppression, power, AC unit and UPS battery backup systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting operations.
- Document and maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions for future reference and analysis.
- Participate in the development and implementation of proactive measures to prevent system failures and improve overall reliability.
- Receive, stage and assist in installation of network, compute and storage equipment.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to operations management.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues affecting operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM, weekends and holidays
- Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Experience with ITSM & Monitoring platforms (e.g., Service Now, Data Dog, SolarWinds)
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and experience with incident management processes.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A or Security , ITIL Foundation, or similar are a plus.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
