Sr. Analyst, Business Systems

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of this job is to review, analyze, evaluate, and maintain company financial business systems, specifically Oracle EPM Security in Identity Domain, Planning (SmartView), and PeopleSoft GL.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Day-to-day support, system troubleshooting, and validation of data
• Document, maintain, and update system related reports, processes, and references
• Design, configuration, development, improvement of processes, and useful reports and queries
• Initiate and research functionalities in the different systems and will train the end users on new functionalities
• Initiate and lead projects of improvement from defining the requirement to testing
• Provide support for all Finance departments to maximize utilization of the system and improve efficiency and facilitate financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Gain an understanding of what each system can do and will update, create and maintain configurations within each system
• Additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor’s Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology.
• 6 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)
• 3 years of experience with business systems such as PeopleSoft, Essbase, PBCS, or Microsoft Dynamics
• 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the Finance capacity
• 1 year of experience as an administrator/super user with Essbase, PeopleSoft, PBCS, Dynamics AX, or other financial tools/systems
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, H-lookups, Macros, Formulas, etc.)

Pay Rate: $90,000- $110,000/yr depending on background and experience.
