Position Description
The Field Contract Administrator provides support for the formation, administration, and closeout of assigned subcontracts on a given project.
Essential Functions
- Assist with the prequalification of potential subcontractors
- Apply knowledge of construction contracting best practices
- Prepare and review contracts with subcontractors
- Maintain files of all subcontracts for designated projects
- Maintain correspondence files for subcontracts
- Provide contract administration functions including maintaining records of scope changes, extra work requests, letters to / from contractor, etc.
- Handle invoice review and payment
- Provide project control with cost trends for subcontracts
- Performs special projects as required
