Summary
To assist in the daily operational functions of the EIM and Items Processing Departments adhering to mandated deadlines.
Location: Please be aware that this position is an in-person/in-office position and the successful candidate is required to be in an office location within the company's footprint. The exact location may be determined based on the successful candidate's geographical preference.
Responsibilities
- Work EIM Stop Payment process.
- Research and payment of State Levy’s.
- Review daily ACH pre-note transactions.
- Back up of returns, chargebacks, non-posts items.
- Safekeeping accurate EIM records.
- Assist internal customers and account officers related to deposit exception items.
- Research and account adjustments.
- Work/Review daily reports assigned.
- Electronic deposit review, fraud detection, rejects and corrections.
- Back Up EIM and Items Processing functions as needed.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Must be able to work some holidays.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Skills/Experience/Education
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED).
- 2 years banking experience preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with technology, possess strong computer skills and ability to operate basic office equipment.
- Must be detail oriented.
- High degree of organization skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Have strong sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
Essential Mental and Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
