Summary
The primary function of this position is to review consumer deposit account documentation and identify errors; process account maintenance; and file organization. The individual holding this position must be able to demonstrate consistent top-quality computer and internal customer service skills. Individual must be knowledgeable of deposit account policy, procedures, and regulations. Must be able to work in a “TEAM” environment, which encourages assisting co-workers when necessary to maintain an efficient level of support, while focusing on attention to detail and providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain up to date knowledge of deposit account policy and procedures and deposit account regulations that regulate deposit account documentation requirements.
- Process verification of deposit requests
- Review Daily Intranet and Goat Reports
- Perform account corrections and adjustments.
- Complete Daily reconciliations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Experience/Education
- Minimum preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
- Business Majors preferred.
- Be a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possesses critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Please note, Gulf Coast Bank & Trust will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation to support immigration sponsorship or benefit including but not limited to optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
Essential Mental & Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
