Our Independent Insurance Adjusting Firm seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Claims Department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily office operations and ensuring efficient workflow. This position requires strong typing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for precision. Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. The key to success in this position is assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Claims Data Entry
- Assist with general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and performing additional administrative tasks as required.
- Serve as the front-end representative of our firm; greet clients politely and direct them as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the Claims Department.
- Maintain accurate and organized records to support the Claims Department's functionality.
Qualifications:
- Proven office experience
- Excellent typing skills
- Competency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment
