WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Program Manager is an exempt position responsible for managing multiple programs in Refugee Services. This role involves ensuring that refugees and survivors affected by combat, torture and trauma have access to effective, holistic, strength-based, and trauma-informed services. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the programs, including client services, data collection, reporting, staff supervision/development, and community outreach/volunteer recruitment.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of multiple programs, including tracking and following up on all aspects of services provided.
- Recruit, train, and supervise direct service staff, volunteers, and interns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor all client service-related aspects of integration and ensure that program outcomes objectives are met.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual narrative and data reports as required by the agency and funding sources for review and submission by Directors.
- Prepare, collect documentation, and submit in Gulf Coast JFCS and funder databases.
- Ensure that files and client documentation are kept in an orderly manner to meet the clients, agencies, and funder's needs.
- Ensure that assessments, screenings, intakes, service plans, family self-sufficiency plans are completed to reflect the needs and goals of clients.
- Develop relationships with housing and social service partners to identify and secure housing and additional resources for clients.
- Coordinate in-kind donations.
- Ensures that payments made to or on behalf of clients are accurate and per agency and funder guidelines.
- Assists in the preparation of reports for Finance and Programs as needed.
- Assist in securing and maintaining mutually beneficial training partnerships with area colleges and universities focused on volunteer training and recruitment.
- Assists with planning and publicity for program events, such as outreach, educational, and engagement activities

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, international studies, human development or related field strongly desired
- Bilingual, preferably in Dari, Pashto, and languages spoken by clients
- Cross-cultural experience or cultural diversity training required.
- Knowledge of community organization and resources
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Previous experience working with refugees strongly preferred
- Must have a valid drivers' license with auto insurance coverage.
