Overview
Gulf Coast Manufacturing and its affiliate are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is looking to establish a career with our company. Ideal candidates are either recent graduates or individuals looking to start their professional journey OR someone who has experience working in estimating or fabrication.
Duties
- Preparing quotes and advancing the quoting process for the company.
- Communicate with customers and vendors comfortably with a professional attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines and fast pace environment.
- Support and guide Fabrication Operations Manager in the daily coordination of the project flows and communications within and with other departments
- Assist with planning and scheduling fabrication project timelines
- Work with Fabrication Operations Manager to monitor labor and material needs, coordinate flow and floor placement of projects, and improve the manufacturing process
- Create an atmosphere and culture of a clean organized shop
- Improve the employee culture towards working safely and efficient
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- No prior professional experience required; enthusiasm to learn is a must!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel & Word)
- Ability to read blueprints
