Job Description
Job Title : Echocardiographer
Job Specialty : Allied Health
Job Duration : Full-time
Shift : 5 days a week, 9 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m., with variable weekends
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 2 years required
License : Must hold a valid license for practicing echocardiography
Certifications : RDCS or RCS certification required, BLS certification required
Must-Have : Must be able to perform Transthoracic Echocardiograms and have experience working with Epic EMR
Job Description :
- Work in a high-volume facility requiring quick adjustment to established policies and procedures
- Participate in a vigorous Quality Assurance program and be open to assessment by the quality assurance team
- Ability to learn quickly and function effectively as part of the core staff
- Participate in floating assignments, including to sister campuses, as needed
- Ensure high-quality echocardiograms are performed consistently
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain quality care standards
- Demonstrate a commitment to the facility's culture and values
- Submit all required documentation by the Monday prior to the start date without exceptions
