Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining the image, quality and cleanliness of clinic exam rooms, lobbies and offices by keeping clean and fresh throughout the week. Professional housekeeper will be thorough, detail-oriented and able to work quickly and efficiently. Must be reliable and flexible with hours and have a keen eye for detail. Work schedule begins after 5pm. Position requires flexibility and willingness to assist other team members with their buildings when they have scheduled time off.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces.
- Wash and fold towels and linens (if applicable to that location).
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste according to company policies.
- Restock and replenish supplies, such as toiletries and cleaning products.
- Organize and maintain storage areas, ensuring supplies are readily available.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and privacy standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two years’ experience in professional housekeeping a must.
- Housekeeping experience within the medical field preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
- Good physical stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Must be reliable and trustworthy – responsible with keys, etc.
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to work split shift if necessary.
- Flexibility with schedule.
- Knowledgeable about workplace safety procedures, including handling hazardous materials and emergency protocols.
- References.
- Willing to work at other locations preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
