Gulf Coast Mitsubishi has an immediate need for a service porter/detailer, applicant should have a clean driving record and be self motivated. Same applicant will be tasked with many duties including driving cars and keeping the facility tidy. Applicant will also be trained to fill in for parts counterman.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers as they arrive at the dealership
- Assist customers with parking and locating their vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area
- Assist with vehicle delivery and retrieval
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Basic understanding of retail math for transactions and calculations
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (preferred)
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment (preferred)
- Hospitality experience is a plus
- skills (English/Spanish) are an asset
- Knowledge of guest services principles for a high-quality customer experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for potential delivery driver duties
