Gulf Coast Special Systems, a locally owned and operated Service Disabled Veteran Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, specializes in the design, installation and service of fire alarm, security, surveillance cameras, and door entry access control systems in the Greater New Orleans area.

Duties:
- Install, program, inspect, and maintain Fire Alarm systems
- Build and configure computer hardware for fire system installations
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and installation requirements for fire systems
- Perform field service calls to troubleshoot and repair security system issues
- Install and terminate cabling for fire system components
- Use power tools and hand tools to mount security system components
Experience:
- Previous experience in the alarm technician or security systems field is preferred
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and wiring techniques
- Familiarity with computer hardware and software used in security systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues with security systems

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
