Gulf Coast Supply is looking for a Territory Sales Manager (Outside Sales representative) in The Coastal Carolina region from Wilmington, NC down the Coast to Georgetown, SC.
Gulf Coast Supply & Manufacturing, LLC (GCSM) is a privately-owned manufacturer of metal roofing and trim products servicing the Southeast with manufacturing and logistic locations in Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. GCSM supplies both residential re-roof and new construction as well as commercial projects.
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for directly and indirectly influencing positive sales of GCSM products/ services through the creation and execution of strategy and tactics as approved by the Regional Sales Manager – Director of Sales. The Territory Sales Manager will actively participate and execute the strategies and tactics developed or assigned by the RSM. The TSM will work independently within the assigned territory and actively support GCSM sales and profitability as required in any targeted geography. The TSM will actively participate in all facets of sales planning, enablement and execution to facilitate budget achievement in the three key areas of GCSM’s 1) profitability. 2) initial customer acquisition (new customers), and 3) managing travel and entertaining expenses to be effective and within budget. Key responsibilities are listed below:
Ø Find and open new accounts within the assigned territory.
Ø Focus and internalize GCSM products and service offerings. Develop in depth product knowledge, to support customer and contractor training
Ø Focus on ascertaining key points of information pertaining to Major Opportunities.
Ø Increase brand awareness in the roofing community through product training and technical training as well as multiple sales calls daily.
Ø Active communication with contractors on large projects in order to keep GCSM supply chain informed as to project schedule and deliveries.
Ø Identify competitors’ trends, their product lines, pricing and market practices.
Ø Attend industry and customer-specific functions.
Ø Participate in business reviews with contractors applying to be a GCSM Authorized Contractor or to provide enhanced warranties.
Requirements –
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or an associated field from a regionally accredited 4-year college or university. Or, a minimum of 5 years of hands/ industry knowledge
· Demonstrate an ability to grow customers and sales in a large dispersed sales territory representing a building product, or industrial manufacturer.
· Clean driving record and background.
