Position Description
Identify and develop business opportunities with new and existing clients.
The primary focus of this position will be on the entire energy sector with emphasis on oil & gas, renewables, power generation & distribution, and storage.
Essential Functions
- Identify, meet and develop rapport with those persons within target-companies who influence project decision management
- Maintains and develop relationships and services existing/new clients
- Develop and implement strategic plans for proposed projects.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients/prospects
- Respond to client's/prospect's questions and requests.
- Assist in proposal preparation and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate the writing of technical papers for publishing in appropriate trade journals.
- Ensure that Customer Relationship Management System is up to date and accurate
- Participate in industry trade shows.
- Preparation of sales call reports
- Continuously maintain product and industry knowledge and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- 5 - 10 years of experience in engineering or business development
- Prefer sales experience in an oil/gas EPC company, and/or;
- Proven sales leadership experience in the renewables industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of engineering requirements pertaining to the oil and gas industry.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
