The Senior Estimator I will be responsible for the execution of all activities involved in project estimating. Responsibilities will include interaction with the Client when necessary, as well as Project Managers, Engineers and Procurement to gather and validate the necessary data to build an accurate estimate. Other tasks will include template population and validation.
The Senior Estimator I will also be required to aid in training for the department.

Essential Functions
- Aid and guide others with department policy and procedures.
- Prepare cost estimates for management and engineering services, equipment and material costs, construction costs, operating costs, and other costs associated with oil and gas industry projects.
- Develop as required and maintain cost estimating tools including databases, spreadsheets, and other computer-based applications.
- Continuing professional development to remain current with industry practices.
- Maintain lines of communications between company departments, project manager and client with regard to cost estimating activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years’ experience in cost/scheduling/estimating or project controls.
- Capability with and knowledge of industry standard computer programs applicable to cost estimating and general business functions.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Field experience in the construction of pipelines, compressor and pump stations, production facilities, measurement stations, and other upstream oil and gas facilities is desirable.
- Bachelor's or associate degree preferred or commensurate experience.
