Position Description
This role will focus on promoting and selling surveying services—including land surveying, topographic surveying, boundary surveys, hydrographic surveys, construction layout, and as-built survey services. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the surveying field, excellent relationship-building skills and a proven track record of surveying services sales.
Essential Functions
- Identify, meet and develop rapport with those persons within target-companies who influence project decision management
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company's surveying services
- Maintains and develop relationships and services existing / new clients
- Develop and implement strategic plans for proposed projects.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients / prospects
- Respond to client's / prospect's questions and requests
- Assist in proposal preparation and contract negotiations
- Coordinate the writing of technical papers for publishing in appropriate trade journals
- Ensure that Customer Relationship Management System is up to date and accurate
- Participate in industry trade shows
- Preparation of sales call reports
- Continuously maintain product and industry knowledge and interpersonal skills
- Work closely with the surveying and project management teams to ensure successful project handoffs and customer satisfaction
- Provide feedback and market insights to help shape service offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts
Qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
