About the Position
The Offshore Rope Access Level III Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe execution of rope access operations on offshore platforms. This position requires a high level of expertise in rope access techniques, as well as strong leadership and supervisory skills to oversee a team of technicians.
The ideal candidate will possess an active SPRAT or IRATA Level III Certification, advanced theoretical knowledge of rope access equipment and techniques, and the ability to work at heights. They must also be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen, as well as a background check.
Responsibilities:
- Use rope access techniques to perform and lead rope access technicians in advanced inspections, maintenance, repairs, blasting, painting and rigging on offshore platforms
- Develop and implement rope access work plans and risk assessments
- Supervise and mentor Level I and Level II Rope Access Technicians
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of rope access operations
Requirements:
