About the Role
Gulf Island Fabrication is seeking a highly skilled Offshore Rope Access Level III Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe execution of rope access operations on offshore platforms.
In this role, you will use your advanced knowledge of rope access techniques to supervise and mentor a team of technicians, develop and implement rope access work plans and risk assessments, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of rope access operations.
Responsibilities:
- Use rope access techniques to perform and lead rope access technicians in advanced inspections, maintenance, repairs, blasting, painting and rigging on offshore platforms
- Develop and implement rope access work plans and risk assessments
- Supervise and mentor Level I and Level II Rope Access Technicians
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of rope access operations
