What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Representative - Inshore Coatings and Scaffolding position at Gulf Island?
Main Purpose :
The Business Development Representative builds and strengthens internal and external relationships, manages customer relations, and implements strategies designed to increase revenue and acquire new business opportunities for the inshore coatings and scaffolding divisions. The inshore division is responsible for jobs and projects on land and in plants.
Essential Functions :
Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external sales and marketing departments, vendors, distributors, and customers
Research and identify new markets, trends, competitor activities and potential customers and partnerships for the inshore coatings and scaffolding divisions
Develop and execute a comprehensive account management plan to ensure that business relations are maintained and enhanced
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies to improve market research
Ability to prepare and present proposals, reports and research
Continually learn about the Company's products and services
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
