Description
Main Purpose:
The Warehouse Shop Hand maintains a clean and organized shop workspace and ensures safe and efficient handling of goods, materials, and equipment. This position is located at our warehouse in Broussard, LA.
Essential Functions:
- Load and offload equipment and materials by operating a forklift
- Receive and pack supplies for projects
- Maintain shop (housekeeping)
- Repair and maintain blasting and painting equipment
- Pick up supplies from vendors when needed
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License

Desirable Experience, Education, and Training:
- Highschool diploma or GED
Tools, Equipment, and Technology:
- Forklift and other machinery
- Blasting and painting equipment
Environmental Conditions:
80% to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc. They may also be exposed to fumes (Paint, paint thinners, diesel, /or gas, etc.)
