Job Description
The ideal candidate will assist our healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch care to patients seeking foot health services. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and podiatrists in patient examinations, treatments, and procedures related to foot health.
- Take and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Educate patients on foot health procedures, treatments, and aftercare instructions.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing procedures.
- Sterilize medical equipment and ensure proper stocking of supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Travel will be required at least one day a week to support other offices
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in podiatry or foot health.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic knowledge of foot-related conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and electronic health record systems
