What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at GULF STREAM MARINE?
Gulfstream Staffing is partnered with a rapidly expanding real estate investment management company. We are currently seeking candidates for an Assistant Property Manager opportunity for their Student Housing division based in Iowa City, IA.
You will be responsible for all financial activities, managing the onsite accounting software system, and resident relations for the property. The Assistant Property Manager also serves as the back-up to the Property Manager in their absence and provides overall support to the property to ensure the success of the property.
Assistant Property Manager Duties
Complete all accounting and bookkeeping tasks according to the annual accounting calendar, overseeing all billing for residential and commercial accounts
Help prepare financial reports, budgets, revenue projections, and variance analysis
Ensure Winter, Spring, and Summer break unit inspections are documented and billed
Create notices to residents for lease violations and fines
Assistant Property Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, or comparable experience in the student housing space
2 years in property operations or leasing in the student housing or residential property management industry
Experience with financials and budgets
Excellent project management skills
Exceptional customer service and resident relations
