Copeland Tower is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee and implement maintenance programs. This role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all mechanical, electrical, and other equipment that impacts the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and attractive environment by maintaining the hotel according to safety standards.
- Supervise and train maintenance teams.
- Complete repairs in hotel rooms and buildings.
- Develop and coordinate plans for routine and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the hotel's exterior, grounds, pool, and exercise room.
- Prepare and monitor the engineering budget.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and update blueprints.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Coordinate procurement of equipment and supplies.
- Ensure all safety and security measures are enforced.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors, contractors, and hotel staff.
- Ensure maintenance work meets quality standards and is completed on time and within budget.
- Work towards increasing guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of hotel or apartment experience.
- HVAC certification preferred.
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance.
- Experience with general maintenance tools.
- Troubleshooting skills in painting, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures and cleaning chemicals.
- Effective communication skills.
