Landscaper / Grounds keeper

We are an HOA community in the beautiful town of Fort Myers Beach. We are not located on island, so no island traffic! 

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundskeeper to help maintain and enhance the outdoor spaces of our property. This role involves ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas are kept in pristine condition, contributing to the overall aesthetic appeal of the environment.

This position is full time Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM, No weekends. Background check and drug test required.

Duties

- Maintain and care for landscapes, including lawns, swales and flower beds.
- Perform regular lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, weed eating and bush trimming.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various grounds keeping tasks.
- Occasional Assistance in repair of irrigation.
- Regularly inspect the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- Remove debris, leaves, and litter to keep outdoor areas clean and inviting.
- Assist in planting new flowers, shrubs, or trees as part of landscape enhancement projects as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance to landscaping equipment.

Skills
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in grounds keeping.
- Knowledge of stand up mower, push mower and riding mowers a big plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Able to perform and experienced in performing manual labor tasks outdoors.
- Basic understanding of plant care and horticulture is a plus.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
